THE ASSOCIATIONS ARE GRATEFUL WITH THE WORK OF SEVERAL POLITICIANS

Several organizations representing people with disabilities –COGAMI and others-, have acknowledged the Cork carried out by José Luis Torres Colomer –President of the Province Council of A Coruña-, Corina Porro and Manuela López Besteiro –conselleiras (Galcian ministers) of Social Matters and Family respectively until last January-.
The events consisted of lunch receptions held in Muros (A Coruña), Vigo and Lugo. During the celebrations those being honoured
were given commemorative plaques and
were publicly thanked for their respective efforts from their positions.

Although J. L. Torres Colomer Hill sep his position, Corina Porro and Manuela López Besteiro Hill be candidates to become mayors of Vigo and Lugo in next May elections.
